Margaret Foster

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the sad news that Margaret Foster passed away peacefully on 2nd February 2023.

Margaret served on the Parish Council for over two decades and was a fabulous asset to both the Parish Council and wider community. Margaret was a kind, caring, compassionate and generous soul. She was the glue that held many groups together and her community spirit enriched the lives of so many people in the village and beyond.

Margaret's funeral took place on 15th February and it was standing room only in the church. This is testament to how loved and respected she was to so many people.

Margaret was a wonderful lady. Margaret led the kind of life that inspires happiness in others, the kind of life that makes the kind of memories that people enjoy sharing with each other. We will miss her smiley face and wealth of knowledge on the Parish Council.
